Our Personal Trainer & Gym Instructor Course is conducted according to standards developed by ICREPS (International Accreditation Federation of Professional Fitness Schools and Skilled Trainers). Our certificate confirms the highest competencies of our training facility and trainers. If you want to become a personal trainer or gym instructor and have chosen our facility, you can be sure that you will receive the highest quality qualifications, allowing you to work all over the world. Each student who completes our course will be accredited by REPS and CIMSPA, an organisation affiliated with ICREPS, and will receive confirmation of their qualifications gained at Zander Fitness Academy. 

Our Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor Course is a comprehensive 6-week online program designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the fitness industry. At the end of the 6 weeks, all students will receive an exam questionnaire, which must be sent back to us for review. In the event of a failed attempt, there is no extra cost for a retake. Students will have the opportunity to retake the exam, and a new questionnaire will be provided.

Day II 

- Training structure 

- Functional medical training and physical rehabilitation 

- Physical preparation for various sports

- TRX training 

- Training for pregnant women 

- Training for children and the elderly 

- Body awareness 

- Stretching 

 

Day III 

- Basic concepts in functional anatomy 

- Muscular system: muscle structure and function 

- Basic muscle activities and their types 

- Functional summary of the muscles of the upper limb 

- Functional combination of the lower limb muscles - Functional list of torso muscles 

- Skeletal system and bone connections 

- Construction and functions of the spine 

- Body surfaces 

- Basic concepts in human motion biomechanics 

 - Muscle activities and muscle fibres 

- Definitions used in muscle description 

- Types of muscle contractions 

- What is movement and what causes it 

- Basic issues in exercise physiology

- Professional ethics 

- Searching for current knowledge 

- Development and further education 

- Prioritising the customer 

- Time structure of training 

- Training intensity 

- Training units and periods 

- Training load 

- Training theory for beginners, intermediates, and advanced levels 

- Training planning and programming 

- Principles of bodybuilding training 

 

 Day VI 

- Basics of nutrition, dietetics, and supplementation - Digestive system 

- Nutrition rules in sport 

- Role of protein in the body 

- Role of fat in the body 

- Role of carbohydrates in the body 

- Vitamins and minerals 

- Examples of nutrient dense products 

- Function of water in the body 

- Pyramid of healthy nutrition 

- Cholesterol: classification and importance 

- Analysis and arrangement of balanced diets 

- Designing a diet to build muscle mass and reduce body fat 

- Principles of a bodybuilding diet 

- Sports supplementation 

- Role of nutrients and supplements in strength sports and bodybuilding

- Safety and efficiency of performed exercises 

- Muscle exercises for the back, chest, and abdomen 

- Exercises on machines and with free weights 

 

Day VIII 

- Upper limb muscle exercises on machines and with free weights
